Owned by the City of St Pete Beach and operated by Dolphin Landings, Merry Pier is a community minded historical landmark, named after Captain Kenneth B. Merry. During the 1920’s & 30’s, Captain Merry entertained famous movie stars, celebrities, and dignitaries staying just down the street at Florida’s legendary “Pink Palace”- The Don CeSar. Nestled in one of Florida’s most picturesque beach towns, Pass-A-Grille is revered internationally for its sprawling sugar white beaches and old world style. Offering public fishing straight off the dock, Merry Pier also serves as a local information spot to help folks find whatever they need. Dock services include rod & reel rentals, live & frozen bait, fishing tackle, ice cold refreshments, soft drinks, beer, ice cream, sandwiches and snacks. Our ship store also offers tropical gifts, postcards and beachwear so you can show everyone where you’ve been!
