Owned by the City of St Pete Beach and operated by Dolphin Landings, Merry Pier is a community minded historical landmark, named after Captain Kenneth B. Merry. During the 1920’s & 30’s, Captain Merry entertained famous movie stars, celebrities, and dignitaries staying just down the street at Florida’s legendary “Pink Palace”- The Don CeSar. Nestled in one of Florida’s most picturesque beach towns, Pass-A-Grille is revered internationally for its sprawling sugar white beaches and old world style. A wide range of boat trips are available from this dock including Party Boat Fishing, Private Sport Fishing Charters, Back Bay, including tropical Island Excursions to Shell & Egmont Key, like Miss Pass-A-Grille and Shell Key Shuttle.

Offering public fishing straight off the dock, Merry Pier also serves as a local information spot to help folks find whatever they need. Dock services include gas & diesel fuel for boats, rod & reel rentals, live & frozen bait, ice cold refreshments, soft drinks, beer, ice cream, sandwiches and snacks. Our dock office also offers a wide range of tropical gifts, postcards and beachwear so you can show everyone where you’ve been!
